Hey, so, this will let everyone hear me, right? Guess I should say hi - I'm Aladdin. I don't really know much about being a Guard (if the Guards back in Agrabah knew about this I think they'd laugh), but I'll see what I can do to help.

Oh, this is Abu. He's my friend. [fortunately Aladdin shifts the communicator as he talks, enough that Abu is visible. The monkey picks up his fez and salutes, chattering what sounds a lot like 'hello']

[Okay. This is not a normal monkey. What.

He blinks, looking very surprised before he gains his composure.]

Er. Nice to meet you both.

[doyoutrustme]

[and now Abu is looking at the communicator too, with visible curiosity. But he doesn't do anything so visibly out of the ordinary - for now.]

Hey, you too. What's your name?

Dr. William Flemming.

Where is Agrabah? I'm not sure I've heard of it.

[doyoutrustme]

Agrabah? Well, it's in the Seven Deserts.

[myfedorarocks]

[He just gives a blank look.]

I suppose that means we're not from the same world.

...that's sort of a weird thing to say.

Guess not. And that is pretty weird, huh.

Are you new here too?

Fairly new, yeah.

I don't think it's even been a month yet.

It's been... interesting.

Not what I would expect from a prison ship.

It's weird, that's for sure. I know I've never heard of any prison like it.

South Africa.

Which... probably doesn't mean much, if our worlds are truly different.

Nah, not really. But I don't really know the names of many places, so it doesn't mean much.
